HUIHENG: Affordable grace

LE006 Linear Pendant Selection Desk

The LE006 is a 36W linear pendant light built around a slim die-cast aluminium bar that hangs on two cables from a rectangular ceiling canopy, with the LED strip set behind a diffuser along the underside. Because one housing carries three colour temperatures, two light distributions and three sand-textured finishes, a single linear light fixture item number can serve dining tables, reception counters, desk banks and showroom display runs across the same building. This desk walks through each parameter in the order a schedule is usually frozen.

Everything below is fixed for the LE006 housing. Each later section expands one row of this block, so you only need to read the rows that are still open on your schedule.

Colour temperature, chosen by the room

Three Kelvin options cover warm hospitality, working interiors and detail-led display. Pick the CCT from what happens under the bar, not from a preferred number.

3000K

Warm

Dining tables, islands and lounges

A warm line over a table keeps the mood soft while the diffuser still spreads light evenly along the whole bar.

  • Restaurants and cafés
  • Hotel rooms and lounges
  • Kitchen islands and dining tables
  • Homes
Buyer decisionChoose 3000K when people sit under the bar and stay a while.

4000K

Work

Desk banks and meeting counters

The neutral working tone that keeps paper, screens and faces readable across a long run of desks or a reception counter.

  • Offices and studios
  • Shops
  • Open-plan desk banks
  • Reception and meeting counters
Buyer decisionChoose 4000K when the room has to support task work through a full day.

5000K

Detail

Display runs and back-of-house

A crisper tone for surfaces that need to read clearly — display cases, technical areas and the parts of a floor the public never sees.

  • Showroom display runs
  • Display floors and cases
  • Technical areas
  • Back-of-house
Buyer decisionChoose 5000K when inspection of a surface or product matters more than atmosphere.

Which lumen tier, decided by drop height

The six flux values are not a ladder. They are two clusters with different jobs — one for a bar that hangs close to the surface it lights, one for a bar that has to carry light across a room.

The selection rule: 1100 / 1200 / 1300lm for a single bar hanging close to the surface it lights; 2400 / 2500 / 2600lm for longer bars, higher ceilings and rooms where light must reach the floor.

Start with the drop, then confirm the run. A short bar hung low over a table and a long bar hung high over an open floor are two different fittings in practice, even though the housing is the same.

Mounting situation Typical run Flux tier
Bar hangs close to the surface it lights — dining table, kitchen island, counter Single bar, short run 1100 / 1200 / 1300 lm
Higher ceiling, longer bar, light has to reach the floor Longer bar or several bars in line 2400 / 2500 / 2600 lm

Grille or floodlight — two outputs from one housing

This is the only either/or on the whole schedule. Both options use the same bar, canopy and cable set, so the choice can be made late without changing the ceiling detail.

Option A

Grille output

A more controlled, slightly shielded look that sits well over desks and counters, where you want the light held on the working surface rather than spilling into the room.

On a desk bank it keeps the run from reading as a bright stripe on the wall behind; on a reception counter it keeps attention on the person and the surface in front of them.

Option B

Floodlight output

The broader wash to specify when the room needs filling — display floors, showrooms and open areas where the bar has to contribute general light as well as a line of light.

Flood is the natural partner to the higher flux tiers, where the point is to reach further rather than to concentrate output over a single counter.

Finish, surface reflection and colour fidelity

The housing finish and the colour rendering both shape what the room looks like after handover. Neither shows up in a flux figure.

Why the finish is low-sheen, not mirror gloss

All three colours are applied as a low-sheen, sand-textured finish. That keeps reflections off screens and glass display cases — the practical reason a specifier chooses this surface over a polished one in an office or a retail interior.

CRI is rated 90 or above. In practice that means merchandise, food, timber and fabric keep looking like themselves under the bar, instead of shifting colour against the daylight coming in from the front of the space.

Pick the finish against the ceiling and joinery rather than in isolation: sand white recedes into pale ceilings, sand black separates the bar from the plane it hangs under, and gold reads as a deliberate detail above a counter or a display run.

Scenario to specification: the starting combinations

Line up the room, the colour temperature, the flux tier and the distribution and you have a specification line. These combinations are drawn from the product's own guidance as a point to start from.

Room named on the product page CCT Flux tier Distribution starting point
Dining table under a low bar 3000K 1100 / 1200 / 1300 lm Grille
Kitchen island 3000K 1100 / 1200 / 1300 lm Grille or flood
Café, restaurant or hotel public area 3000K 2400 / 2500 / 2600 lm where the ceiling is high Flood
Reception and meeting counter 4000K 1100 / 1200 / 1300 lm Grille
Desk bank and open-plan office 4000K 2400 / 2500 / 2600 lm Grille
Showroom display run and display floor 5000K 2400 / 2500 / 2600 lm Flood

Every row above carries the same CRI ≥ 90 output and the same die-cast aluminium bar. Confirm drop height, run length and layout with your sales contact before the schedule is signed off.

What is already covered, and what still needs confirming

One item number goes a long way, but not all the way. Splitting the two lists makes the conversation with the factory short.

Already covered by LE006

  • Three colour temperatures — 3000K, 4000K and 5000K — from the same item number.
  • Two light distributions, grille or floodlight, from the same housing.
  • Three finishes — sand white, sand black and gold — so a public floor and a back-of-house corridor can differ without a second SKU.
  • Several rooms in one building served by one line on the schedule.
  • Canopy, cables and bar supplied as one assembly, so a run goes up without the ceiling work a recessed scheme would need.

Confirm before you freeze the schedule

  • The aluminium grade for the body.
  • The diffuser material behind the underside strip.
  • The exact surface process — spraying, anodising or brushing — which differs by finish.
  • Batch-to-batch consistency where a project is delivered in phases.
  • Anything you need beyond the standard configuration, raised as a custom or OEM request.

Freeze the LE006 schedule, then ask for the quote
